MINDSCAPE 2016 - 13th edition of Success



MINDSCAPE, a case study competition for Industry-Institute Interaction, was organized at Audyogik Shikshan Mandal Campus in Pimpri, Pune on 23rd October; 2016.
Mr R. N. Nalbalwar, Sr. VP-ER Aditya Birla Corporation, was the chief guest for the Inaugural function of the event. Dr Asha Pachpande, Founder secretary and Director of ASM was the Chairperson on the occasion.
Mr. Nalbalwar, his address to the audience, emphasized on the necessity for Industry-Institute interactions and appreciated the unique initiative by ASM Group for organizing the Mindscape Case Study Competition.
The Competition between the various industry teams was extremely intense and interesting! Dr Santosh Dastane, Mr Shyam Ozarkar & Mr Dinesh Bagade (GM & DGM, MVML, Chakan) Mr Atul Badkas (DGM L&D Endurance Tech), Prof. Asheesh Dixit and Prof Roopa Praveen (ASM Group) were the Jury members for the competition.

In the evening function of Mindscape 2016, awards was presided by the Chief Guest Mr Unnikrishnan, MD & CEO Thermax Ltd., who narrated the paradigm shift which has taken place at the global scenario for Management studies. He also said that the events like ASM’s Mindscape competition are very important to bridge the ever increasing gaps in Academic studies and Industry requirements
The Teams from M&M Nasik, MVML Chakan and Tata motors Ltd. won the coveted Mindscape 2016 Main/Special Jury & Live Case Study segments and Endurance Tech,Trikaya Coatings were the close Runners up. The Team from MSL was awarded the Mindscape 2016 Surprise Trophy.
The MINDSCAPE 2016 competition was compered by the faculty & students of ASM group, the concluding remarks were offered by Prof. Roopa Praveen whereas Prof J.A.Kulkarni explained the essence of Mindscape competitions and enabled the smooth conduct of event MINDSCAPE-2016.  She expressed optimism in further popularity and utility of the event as a ‘Hub’ for improving Institute-Industry interactions.
M/S Golden Sparrow Publishers were the Media Partners for MINDSCAPE 2016 and was represented by Mr. Ankit Kankar (senior officer- strategic affairs).
